About Me
- Loraine
- Originally from Puerto Rico, I came to live in Tampa, FL at the end of summer of '93. Coming along with my mother we settled in a neighborhood in Tampa Heights. I grew up and started a family of my own in which I produce two beautiful kids, my daughter Larisha and my son Leander. I love them with all my heart and this blog is dedicated to them. They are my motivation to losing weight. I need to get healthy so that my life here on Earth is long enough for me to enjoy my children.

Bearer of Good News
Well, well, well! Did ya miss me? So, I am assuming you want to know how my week went with my new diet. Let me tell you, it was G-R-E-A-T! Back on the last week of September (2 weeks ago) I decided to be more careful with my food intake. When I starter the actual diet (1 week ago) I had lost 6 lbs. Tuesday was my weight-in at the Dr's and I lost an additional 4.8 lbs. That's 10.8 lbs in 2 weeks. WOO HOO! I'm sure people might not like the fact that I am not doing it completely natural. Injections and pills??? Well, the injections is a mixture of vitamins that basically gives me a boost of energy (that I definitely need), and the pills help suppress my appetite (I find I am not eating unnecessarily or over eating, specially when I am home bored). Staying within my 1200 calories, I thought it was going to be difficult, but with the meal planner I got from the doctor and not feeling starved all the time it has helped tremendously. I don't have a gym membership yet, but I don't think I need to spend all of that money unless I need to lift some dumbbells. I have been opting in for walking instead of driving whenever I can, and doing some cardio workouts in front of my TV set with the cable's "Sports & Fitness On Demand" channel.
